Millie Markham Obituary

Millie Janette (Brittain) Markham, age 87 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Millie was born December 20, 1934, in Shelby, NC to her late parents Zed Ernest and Clara Belle (Hicks) Brittain. Millie is preceded in death by her husband Richard Allen Markham, brother James Roger "Butch" Brittain.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-laws Toni and Greg Abernathy, Ellijay, GA, Nikki Trevino, Marietta, GA, son Scott Allen Markham, Anniston, AL, grandchildren Kelly Miller, Kevin (Ashley) Markham, Steven (Yuan) Abernathy, Samantha (Jack) Hoston, Sarah (Daniel) Nelson, Rachel (Anthony) Digise, Millie (Jacob) John, and Zed Carol, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday December 27th, 2022 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the service hour of 2:00pm at the Logan Funeral Home.

Flowers are being accepted, or donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at www.bcrf.org in memory of Mrs. Markham.
