Millie Gregurek Sion

Millie Gregurek Sion, 83, of Victoria, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. She was born on March 8, 1942 in Ganado, Texas to the late Josef and Emily Gregurek.
Millie was a 1960 graduate of Ganado High School and later earned her cosmetology license. She worked in Wharton as well as El Campo as a beautician until she married Donald Sion. The couple sided in Victoria and had three sons. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Millie worked in the restaurant industry for several years and finished her career at HEB. Her passions were cooking for her family. She became an avid lover of pets while growing up on her family's farm and this continued throughout her life. Millie had a welcoming personality and always made others feel at ease. Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her sons, Craig, Keith and Chris Sion; grandson, Nicholas Sion; sister, Josephine; and brothers, Ed and Jimmy.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Josef and Emily Gregurek; husband, Donald Sion; and brother, Marcel Gregurek.
Family and friends will gather for visitation Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy., in Victoria, Texas. Funeral Mass will be Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes in Victoria, Texas with burial to follow at Catholic Cemetery # 2.
