Ofelia Cano Luna, 94 of Victoria, Texas was welcomed into heaven March 6, 2026. She was born November 7, 1931 in Bloomington, Texas to the late Pedro and Jesusa Ruiz Cano.

Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2026 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Holy Mountain Baptist Church. Ofelia will be laid to rest at Golden Sunset Cemetery. Honoring Ofelia as pallbearers will be Joe Dominick Luna IV, Miguel Tristan Jr., Jesse Tristan, Jose Rivas, Kenny Pyle, and Daniel Silver.

Ofelia married the love of her life, Jose R. Luna, Jr., on September 10, 1955, in Victoria, Texas. She lovingly dedicated more than 30 years as the owner of Luna's House of Gifts and Flowers before retiring. Ofelia found joy in making crafts, caring for her plants, reading the Bible, and relaxing with word searches while watching Gunsmoke on TV. She was a woman of deep faith and a cherished member of Christian Multi Ethnic Baptist Church (Holy Mountain). Ofelia's memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Ofelia was preceded in death by her honey of 60 years, Jose R. Luna, Jr.; sisters, Irene Alaniz, Mary Peña, Dora Nava, Elida Morales, Odelia Cano, Maria Cano; brothers, Pete, Jr., Jesus, Jose, Ramon, Gilberto, Roberto, Ruben and Ines Cano.

Leaving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Grace (James) Parnell of Humble, Texas, Oralia (Miguel) Tristan of Victoria, Texas, Mariselda (Oscar) Garcia of Houston, Texas; sons, Jose III (Olivia) Luna of Edna, Texas, John (Andrea) Luna of Victoria, Texas; sister, Eufemia Uresti of Victoria, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
