Milt Cohen

passed away peacefully on the morning of March 26, 2026, at the age of 93. He was a proud native of South Philadelphia.

Milt is survived by his devoted wife, Sondra Cohen, and three of his four children: Jeff Cohen and his wife, Lynn Cohen; Steve Cohen and his wife, Catherine Cohen; and his daughter, Stacy Cohen. He is also lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Milt will be remembered as a loving husband and father whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him. His remarkable ability to make others laugh and feel at ease was a gift that left a lasting impression on family and friends alike.

In his later years, Milt began a career in stand-up comedy, where he found great success as a comedian and headlined at prominent venues. He was also a gold medalist in the Senior Olympics, winning the three-mile New Jersey Shore ocean swimming event.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all whose lives he touched.
