Milton Fox Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Panama City on Feb. 26, 2026.
Milton Eugene "Pat" Fox Jr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 12, 2026, surrounded by his devoted family. He now rests peacefully in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born on February 23, 1941, in Newport News, Virginia, Pat lived a remarkable life defined by faith, service, generosity, and unwavering love.

Pat enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1959 and served honorably until 1963. After completing his service, he made his home in Panama City, Florida, where he built a successful business as a talented custom woodworker-crafting beauty with his hands, his creativity, and his heart.

He shared 44 cherished years with the love of his life, Sharon, until her passing in 2016. Together, they raised a family grounded in love, laughter, and a deep devotion to God. A true prayer warrior, Pat dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and joyfully lived out the timeless values of the Bible. Known for his warm humor, beautiful singing voice, and joyful spirit, he brought light into every room. His generosity knew no bounds; he gave selflessly to others, blessing countless lives with his kindness and compassion.

A proud patriot who deeply loved his country, Pat cherished his family above all. He is survived by his children: Kimberly, Christopher, and Michael Fox of Panama City, Florida, and Ruth Goss (Michael E.) of Raleigh, North Carolina; his grandchildren: Michael D. Goss (and great-grandson Theodore) of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Mason and Alyson Fox of Panama City, Florida. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family from Panama City, St. Augustine, Yorktown, and Gloucester, Virginia; his cherished church family at First Baptist Church in Panama City; and his beloved grand-dogs Trevor, Toby, and Chance.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at First Baptist Church, located at 640 Grace Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. All friends and loved ones are warmly invited to attend and join in honoring Pat's extraordinary life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Pat's honor to Gideons International (www.gideons.org), reflecting his lifelong passion for sharing God's Word, or to a charity of your choice.

"Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!" - 2 Corinthians 9:15

Pat lived every day grateful for God's goodness and made sure to share his faith with all who knew him.
