Milton Duane Goad, age 59, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at his residence. He was born on August 17, 1966, in Hanford, California, to Cornelius and Shirley (Whited) Goad.

Duane worked all over the county. He was a truck driver for a sand and gravel business, an accountant for H&R Block, a fabricator and welder amongst other jobs. Duane was a member of the Christ the King Community Church in Fredericktown.

Duane loved fishing and went to a lake or pond any chance he could. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his lawn. Duane really liked helping people, especially the Amish and at food pantries. Volunteer work was a great way for Duane to show his love and appreciation to others. Most of all, Duane loved to be around his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (McHenry) Goad; sons, Milton (Tiffanie) Goad, David (Jessica) Morgan, and Daniel (Angie Smith) Morgan; grandchildren, Zane, Kyler (Jocelyn), Alannah, Drostyn, Landon, Emma, Adalyn, Jackson, Noah, Kadence (Devan), Landen, Dakota, Lane, Lucas and great grandson, Asher; siblings, Sarah (Larry), Joy (David), Tony (Sandra), Terry (Anyse), Joanne (Jerry), Daniel (Pamela); and many, many, nieces and nephews.

Duane is preceded in death by his father, and stepfather, Richard Austrum.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
