Services for Mr. Milton Lewis Savell, 63, of Union, will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 2:00PM at Milling Funeral Home in Union, MS. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will take place in Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Barry Fulton will officiate.
Mr. Savell left this world for his heavenly home on November 28, 2024. He was born on August 9, 1961, in Philadelphia, MS. He graduated from Neshoba Central High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Valissa Edwards. Together they had their daughter, Brandy. He worked with Valissa's father, Millard, hauling wood after high school. He later moved to Memphis, where he married his second wife and had his daughter, Amanda.
Years later he moved back to Mississippi where he began his work in construction. He loved his grandchildren. He liked to hunt and fish. He also loved to watch football especially Alabama, ROLL TIDE!
Mr. Savell is survived by daughters, Brandy Winstead (Matthew) and Amanda Rush (James); brother, Melton Savell (Wanda); grandchildren: Jagger Bennett, Emry Winstead, Huntley Winstead, Aubrey Rush and Brody Rush.
He is preceded in death by his father, J.W. Savell; mother, Mary Breland; brother, John William Savell; and his sisters, Mary Lynn Miksch and Myrna Richardson.
Pallbearers will be Jagger Bennett, Keith Partridge, Pete Munn, Tanner Munn, Johnny Goforth, and Ryan Savell.
The family of Mr. Savell would like to extend a special recognition to Cayla Gilbert, RN; Laurie Malone, Social Worker; Andrea Morgan, MD; Chaplain John Newbaker; Amberly Grant, CNA; Laura Goss, RN; and Hailey Copeland, RN, with Gentiva Hospice of Newton for their loving care, guidance, and encouragement.
