Milton Scharn Obituary
A retired tool and die maker, and machinist, Milton loved to work with his hands. He was forever tinkering with anything, and friends could always find him with the garage doors open working on various projects. He had a gazillion tools and knew where each one was. Times spent with family were most important to Milton, and he especially loved traveling to wherever Theresa said they were going. He enjoyed fishing and bowling, swimming in the ocean, and was an avid NY Yankees and NY Jets fan. Milton was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife Theresa, of 44 years, survivors include his loving children, Milton Scharn, IV and his wife Alexa of Seymour, Tonya Singer and her husband Cory of NY, and Ashly Vorio and her husband Brendon of Roxbury; brothers, Edward Scharn and his wife Lynn, Barton Scharn, Patrick Scharn, Philip Scharn and his wife Carol, Greg Scharn and Lisa McMahon, and Gene Cavanaugh; 6 adored grandchildren, Hannah and Eva Singer, Axe, Woods and Oaks Vorio, and Remi Scharn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and his niece, Jennifer Hughes, whom he considered his daughter, and her husband Michael.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour, CT, 06483. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 9:30am in the funeral home and committal services will follow at 11am in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Milton's name can be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Assoc. I´m so sorry to hear of Milt´s passing. So many good memories and fun times from the pop warner through high school football days! Milt was such a great guy, easy going and soft spoken. And if you were listening closely, very funny also. My condolences to you and your family!

I was saddened to hear Milt passed away. My sincere sympathies to Theresa, and all Milt's family and friends. It has been years since I last saw Milt, but there are a lot of good memories from when we all were younger. Milt was a great guy and a lot of fun. He will always be remembered by all that knew and loved him. Rest in Peace Milt.

Cousin Milt was an incredible guy, who always had a smile & a handshake ready. Growing up in the 'projects' of Stratford, surrounded by all the Scharns & Birches, brought me some of my happiest memories. I will always remember those times ... Miss you, Milt.
