Proud grandfather of Megan Moran; Zachary (Chrissi Bruley) Sutton, Chelsie (David) Sedlacek, Cody (Crystal) Sutton, and Tory (Emily) Sutton, Jordan Shaw and Grace (Ben) Kistner; Timothy Sutton Jr., Daniel (Valerie) Sutton, Jeffrey Sutton and Rachel (Chris) Hutton; Natalie (Rich) Hill, Benjamin (Lindsay) Allen and Olivia Allen; great grandfather of Cheyenne Sanpedro (Mathew Natelli), Mikayla Sanpedro, Brandon Sanpedro, Bradley Sutton, Jacob Sutton, Lexi Sutton, William Sedlacek, Charley Sedlacek, Rylie Sutton, Miranda Sutton, Abigail Sutton, Evan Sutton, Zoey Hutton, Aubrey Hutton, Briley Allen, Logan Allen, Chase Hill and great great grandfather of Damian Natelli.

He was an uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

Milton was preceeded in death by his father, Roy Everett Sutton; mother, Gladys Viola (nee Clarke) Sutton; sister, Goldie Ellen Geary (Joseph Bernard); brother, Ray Everette Sutton (Elizabeth Mildred); half brother, Elmer Earl Owens (Marjorie M); half-sister, Nellie Baumgartner; half-sister, Viola Mildred (nee Baumgartner) Kausch; infant son, Michael James Sutton, April 1953; infant son David Allen Sutton, September 1963.

Milton began his employment at Rice-Stix in Saint Louis, trying his hand in other industries and later enjoyed a successful career with Orkin, achieving number one salesman status for nineteen of the twenty years. Milton’s most important priority was his faith expressed in taking the family to church, multiple times a week, serving as a Sunday School Superintendent for more than 30 years, also teaching classes, singing with the choir, attending weekly prayer meeting, serving as deacon and church visitation. Over his lifetime the family connected with many people at Water Tower Baptist, Riverview Gardens Baptist, First Baptist Church of Ferguson, Harvester Baptist and, in latter years, First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, Missouri. He was an avid Cardinal baseball fan, beginning in his youth following the St. Louis Browns, and enjoyed collecting and displaying memorabilia in a dedicated room. His favorite was Stan ‘the man’ Musial. Milton played baseball in his youth and later fast pitch softball on the church team and had a stunning knuckleball even in his 50s. He, along with Bill Kitchen, coached the church’s girls fast pitch softball team for many years. Milton could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere; he didn’t know a stranger. His legacy will live on through his posterity and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
