Milton Volney

Milton J. Volney, age 79, of Georgetown, TX entered eternal rest surrounded by family on May 19, 2024. Milton was born in Taylor, TX on June 12,1944 to Jerome and Lydia Volney (Zrubek). He was married to Gladys Volney (Schoener) on January 16,1971 and enjoyed 53 years of marriage. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Lydia Volney, sister, Loretta Raesz and husband, Charles Raesz. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Volney and two daughters, Lisa Baird and husband Cliff, Karen Sands and husband Todd, and five grandchildren, Aiden Mount, T.J. Mount, Keegan Mount, Whitney Sands, and Sydnee Sands. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 8, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church at 11am in Georgetown, TX.
