Milton C. "Buddy" Wilson, 87, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Friday, October 24, 2025, with his family at his side. Born in Marlborough he was the son of the late Milton & Pearl (Blenkhorn) Wilson, and the beloved husband to the love of his life, Bernice (Orrill-Frederickson) since 1961.
Buddy was raised on the Wilson Family Farm in Berlin along with his siblings growing asparagus and potatoes. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy aboard the USS Antietam CV 36 as a plane handler from 1956-1958. He went on to serve his community as a Framingham Firefighter enjoying a 24 year career. Buddy also owned his own business, Milton C. Wilson Building, Contracting and Remodeling as well.
In his younger years, Buddy played semi pro baseball, and his love for the sport continued as an avid Red Sox Fan. He also loved his New England Patriots. He and Bernice were blessed with a retirement where they enjoyed 30 years of being snowbirds in Stewart, Florida. Buddy was a friend and mentor to many, and across many generations.
Along with his wife Bernice, Buddy is survived by his loving daughter, Lori Wilson-Chapin & her husband Kevin Chapin, his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye, Nicole and Nathanial Walker, his great granddaughter and his angel on earth, Ava Winer, his bonus grandkids, Shelby and Hunter Roberto, his siblings, Burt & his wife Barbara, and Glenda Jones, many nieces and nephews, and his lifelong friend who was like his brother, Robert "Bobby" Magri.
Buddy was predeceased by his siblings, Earl, Irene, Bobby, Elinor and Helen.
A very special Thank you to Dr Fathi at MGH- Dr.Ahmed & the entire staff at CRMA Oncology Dept. & Tufts Oncology department staff for their wonderful care and compassion.
