Minerva A. Collins, 93, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, August 17, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Collins, Sr. grandson, Wilford Collins, III; parents, Viviano Carreon and Maria Rodriguez.
Mrs. Collins is survived by her children, Fred (Jessie) Collins, Anne (Sylvester) Collins Ramirez, William (Denise) Collins, Wilford (Gabriela) Collins, Jr., Carol Long and Joan (Edmund) Naughton; 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; 3 family friends, Ruben Pineda, Beto Patino and Gregory Long.
The family will be receiving guests on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. The chapel will reopen at 7:00 am on Saturday, August 23, 2025 to depart at 8:30 am for a Funeral Mass at San Luis Rey Catholic Church at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
