Funeral services for Minnie Huether, 100, of Dickinson, will be 10:30 am, Friday, December 5, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Burial will follow at Sunnyslope Cemetery in Mott.
Visitation for Minnie will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home.
Minnie passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Hilltop Home of Comfort in Killdeer.
Minnie was born January 19, 1925, in Burt, ND, the daughter of Emanual and Flora (Wetzstein) Friez. She attended country school until the eighth grade and helped her father with all the livestock and farming chores. Minnie married Harold Huether February 9, 1945. They had three daughters, Faye, MaDonna and Debra. Minnie and Harold farmed at Regent, ND until moving to Dickinson in 1966 when they purchased the Villa Drive-Inn. Some years later they pursued acquiring their GED high school diploma and went to the Tri-State School of Massage in Kennewick, WA. They then moved back to Dickinson and started the Massage Therapy Clinic where they both worked as massage therapists for many years. Minnie was an active member of the Zoar Congregational Church in Mott and later the Evangelical Bible Church in Dickinson hosting many missionary and musical groups in her home. She was also an active member of the Germans From Russia Group in Dickinson. Minnie was a caregiver to her father and mother-in-law for many years during their illnesses, and to her daughter, Faye, through her cancer journey and to Harold after his stroke. Minnie moved to Evergreen in 2019 and later in 2021 to Hilltop Home of Comfort in Killdeer, ND until her death.
Minnie is survived by her daughters, MaDonna (Terry) Bernhardt, Taylor, Debra (Phil) Reisenauer, Dickinson; six grandchildren, Robbie Olson, Dickinson, Ricky (Karen) Olson, Chandler, AZ, Chris (Sandra) Bernhardt, Taylor, Jason (Brooke) Bernhardt, Memphis, TN, Melanie (Rich) Stradling, Dickinson, and Tyler (Chandel) Reisenauer, Dickinson; seven great-grandchildren, Courtney (Tom) Irwin, Jonathan and Elizabeth Bernhardt, Elsa and Greta Bernhardt, Jaiden (Chantel) Stradling and Dylan (Esmae) Stradling; two great-great-grandchildren, Sylas and Eleanor Stradling; two sisters, Matilda Meier, Monroe, WA and Theckla Klein, Bismarck; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; daughter, Faye Olson; her parents, Emanuel and Flora Friez; infant brother, Frank; brother, C.J. Frieze; sisters, Barbara Straub, Jeannie Vasey, and Viola Kjos.
Minnie was a loving and caring person and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials be made to Evangelical Bible Church.
