Mrs. Minnie Mae Jordan, 75, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 5, 2025. A Visitation is set for Saturday, September 13, from 10am to 11am in the chapel Trevino Smith Funeral Home and Crematory of Madisonville. A Funeral Service will begin at 11am also at Trevino Smith. Pastor Sedrick Eddington will officiate; burial will follow at West End Cemetery.

Born on July 1, 1950, in Madisonville, Texas, Minnie was the beloved daughter of Glenn and Ira (Whaley) McCoy. A devoted wife and mother, Minnie put her family at the center of everything she did. She was the kind of person who showed her love through everyday actions-whether it was cooking a warm meal, lending a listening ear, or simply being there when someone needed her. In her spare time, Minnie enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, listening to music, and watching her favorite character Matt Dillon on Gunsmoke.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Ira; her loving husband of thirty-five years, Thurston Jordan; and two brothers, Larry McCoy, and Otha and his wife Mary F. McCoy.

Minnie leaves behind to cherish her memories, a son, Timothy D. Allen; two brothers, Glenn McCoy Jr., and, Robert McCoy and wife Jessie; one beloved granddaughter, Kenya Allen; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and, friends.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
