Minnie Elizabeth Nash Partin, age 93 of Middlesboro, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehab Center of Pineville.
She was born on July 12, 1932 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Dosie Thompson and Cleve Grover Nash.
In addition to her parents Minnie was preceded in death by her first husband Ballard Houston, Husband Earnest Partin, Children Amanda Houston, Bonnie Partin, Brenda Partin, Louie Partin, Buddy Houston, Grandchildren Tammy Partin, Stevie Partin, Greg, Michelle and Tim Houston and other family and friends.
Minnie loved to cook and make sure everyone always had a hot meal on the table. She loved the Lord and was a Christian; she enjoyed listening to gospel music and worshipping through song. Minnie's family meant so much her - she especially loved children - and babies would always brighten her day.
She is survived by her children Sherman Houston and Linda Partin, Grandchildren Tommy Houston, Sherman Lee Houston, Borley Boger (Danielle), Isaac Crowe, Greg Beeler, Michael Partin, Jacob Partin, Cody Partin, Patricia Partin, Vanessa Partin, Jody Partin, Charlie Houston, Greg Gibson and John Gibson as well as a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, at 1:00 p.m. in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Nelson Bingham officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hensley's Chapel Cemetery in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
