On March 17, 1961, the lives of the late Eddie "Champ" and Mary Lee Bryant were enriched with the birth of their second-born daughter, Minnie Valearie Bryant. On Monday, September 1, 2025, Minnie exchanged her earthly garb for her heavenly crown. Minnie dedicated her life to Christ at a very early age and united with the St. Luke Baptist Church, Walker Springs, AL, under the leadership of Rev. B. F. Dudley. She was an extremely dedicated church member and served dutifully as the Pastor's Aide President, a member of the Beautification Committee, and a faithful choir member. Minnie was a graduate of Jackson High School's Class of 1978. For the past 24 years, she served with a sea of compassion and love as a Direct Support Professional with the Arc of Clarke County.

A new chapter in Minnie's life began May 25, 1979, when she united in holy matrimony to the late Robert Pritchett. To this union, three children were born: Shameca Shanta, Robert Jarrod, and Kyra Shantel. Born the fifth of ten children, Minnie was preceded in death by her parents Eddie "Champ" Bryant and Mary Lee Bryant, her husband, Robert Pritchett, and her oldest brother, Eddie J. Bryant. Also preceding her in death were her grandparents, Ira and Daisy Bryant, James and Minnie Jackson, and her nephew Bruce Council.

Left to cherish her legacy of love, kindness, and humility are her three loving and devoted children: Robert J. Pritchett of Montgomery, AL and Shameca Bryant and Kyra Pritchett of Walker Springs, AL,; four grandchildren: Alayiah, Aaden, JaNya, and A'Nyjah; one great-grandchild who was the joy of her life, Xyla; five brothers: Sylvester (*Rose) Bryant, Ira (Jessie) Bryant, Maury Bryant, Orenthal Bryant, and Cassius (Tonia) Bryant; three sisters: Dorothy (Nathaniel) Scott, Drusilla Bryant, and Stassa (Benjamin Sr.) Thomas; one bonus brother, Fred (Dora) Bryant.

Also left to cherish her sweet memories are four sisters-in-law, two extremely devoted, Augustine Bryant and Linda F. Kennon (*Mack); Gail Pritchett (*Lucious) and Leila Bush; two devoted uncles, J.C. Jackson and James Pendleton; two best friends, Johnetta Starling and Hazel McClain. She also leaves to cherish her sweet, fun-loving memories a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved so dearly, her sweet, sweet Kathy Jones, for whom she was a caretaker for 24 years, her beloved St. Luke Church Family, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Minnie was everybody's favorite and the true life of the party. No matter the occasion, we could always count on her to light up the room. Known for her keen sense of style and décor, her effervescent personality matched perfectly. Her spirit was genuine, and she never missed an opportunity to spread love, kindness, humor, and generosity. She radiated beauty both inside and out. With a trove of indelible memories that she left behind, she will forever live within the hearts of everyone who loved her. *Deceased
