Minnie Vivian Thomas, 69, a beloved mother and friend, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital ~Desoto in Southaven, Mississippi. Born on September 21, 1955, in Bruce, Mississippi, she lived a life filled with love, family, and devotion to those around her.
Minnie will be deeply missed by her children: 4 Sons: Fred Thomas, Isaiah Thomas, Jaloni Thomas, and Jakarta Thomas; 3 Daughters: Monique Welch, Ayanna Allen, and Latoya Jennings; 4 Brothers: Juan Thomas, Thomas Bridges, Ron Powell, and Patrick Powell; 3 Sisters: Jolinda Silas, Rhonda Powell, and Patrice Powell. She was preceded in death by her parents, JD Daniels and Mary Jo Thomas, who cherished her throughout their lives.
Her family invites all who knew Minnie to join in honoring her memory. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Belle Memorial Funeral Home located at 138 E Washington Street, Bruce, MS 38915. Following this, a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Jackson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, starting at 1:00 PM. The church is located at 103 Evers Drive, Bruce, MS 38915.
Minnie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and unwavering strength that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved her. As we gather to remember her spirit, we cherish the memories and the impact she made in our lives.
