Miranda "Mandy" Wright, 35 of Franklin died unexpectedly on Thurs. Sept. 23, 2021. Mandy was one of the strongest, most caring, kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. She was born on Aug. 30, 1986 to Donna & Ralph (Mondore) Amatuccio Sr. She was the beautiful wife to Robert Wright and mother to their 4 children: Tamara, Isiah, Issac & Zander Wright.
For the past year, Mandy was fighting an uphill battle against leukemia. Never once did she allow leukemia to be what defined her. Instead, she continued to be known as "Mama Mandy" to many who knew her. She was the person that you could call no matter the time of day and for any reason. She was dedicated to supporting her family and anyone she met. This was shown through her volunteer work with the Franklin Emergency Squad, her work with the Franklin Central School and her desire to become a nurse.
She is also survived by 2 brothers, Lucas Amatuccio, Ralph & Jamie Amatuccio, a sister, Melaina Amatuccio, 5 nieces & nephews, Tucker, Taylor, Abby, Madi, & Charles, her grandmother, Dolores Harp, mother-in-law and family, Pamela Wright, special friend, Joanna Banks and her children, Sierra & Joshua and also several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Mandy's Life will be held at the Franklin Fire Station on Sat. Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. Private Burial will be in Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin at the convenience of the family.
