Of Unadilla
Thelma "Mimi" Decker, 88 of Unadilla passed away on Wed. Jan. 21, 2026. Thelma was born on Nov. 4, 1937 to Elsie & Kenneth Mills. She was a resident of Unadilla for many years. She worked at Sturgess Pharmacy, then Brown's Pharmacy until she finally retired after 38 years. Thelma was well known for her spot being behind the counter at the Pharmacy in Unadilla. She loved her family very much. She had a witty sense of humor and the biggest heart ever. She enjoyed camping, playing many rounds of cards & putting a lot of puzzles together. She will be missed greatly!
She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Frank Decker, her parents and inlaws, sisters, June Hill & Ruth Liddle, nephews, Randy Hill & Roger Rieman and niece Bonnie Hill.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Amy (Charlie) Carvin, son, Ronald (Carrie) Decker, her granddaughters, Danielle (Jake) and Amanda (Victor). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
At Thelma's request, there will be no calling hours or service at this time. A family service will be at the graveside at a later date. Online condolences may be made at: www.wmaddenfh.com. Arrangements by the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla. A MADDEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME.
