Hartsville, SC

Mirandy Rose Oneal Munn, 44, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Born, February 10, 1981, in Hartsville, SC, she was the daughter of Sidney Dewayne “Wayne” Oneal and Carol Ann Tyner Young.

Mirandy was known for her fun-loving spirit, brightening every room with her infectious smile and laughter. She possessed a unique ability to transform challenging situations into opportunities for joy and happiness. Above all, she deeply cherished her family and children, always available to offer a helping hand or lend a listening ear. Mirandy had a passion for music; she loved Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Her favorite pastime was watching TV shows from the 90’s and had grown very fond of Hello Kitty. But more than anything, she had a passion for life and her family. She drank deeply from the well of love and tried to share that love with everyone she encountered on her journey.

Mirandy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James E. and Virginia Griggs Tyner; and her paternal grandmother, Margaret Boatwright Oneal.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Jonathan Shane Munn; her sons, whom she adored, Brian Austin McKenzie, Roman Pierce (Delilah Scott) McKenzie, Pacey Reed McKenzie, and Jordan Carter Munn; her mother, Carol Ann Tyner (Russell) Young; her father, Sideny Dewayne “Wayne” Oneal; her brothers, Joshua Norman Oneal, Joshua Adam Compton, William (Jonalin) Young, and Russell Allan Young; grandfather, Rowland Oneal; brother-in-law, Kristofer Dane (Chelsey) Munn; niece and nephews, Zach Munn, Hallie Munn, and JW Young; best friends that were more like sisters, Carrie Jones, Cary Weatherford, Darlene Brown, Dawn Bennett, and Connie Ham; and serval aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Patrick, SC. Burial will follow in Tyner Cemetery, in Patrick, SC.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. just prior to the service at the Church on Wednesday.
