Miriam Broadbent

1933 ~ 2025

Miriam Sarah (Fullmer) Broadbent, age 92, passed away in South Jordan, Utah on May 29, 2025. She was born on February 15, 1933, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Elva (Tippetts) and Don Arthur Fullmer. Miriam married Berne DeAlton Broadbent on November 9, 1953, in the Salt Lake Temple. Her husband preceded her in death on September 11, 2006. Miriam is survived by her children Berne Steven (Suzanne) Broadbent, Michael D. (Konni) Broadbent, Saralyn Broadbent, and Michelle Miner; and by her brother Parley Kay (Kathryn) Fullmer and sister Evelyn (Douglas) Houghton. Miriam was a devoted wife and mother and has 23 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings. She especially cherished the time she served with her husband in the Provo Utah Temple and as a missionary at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Miriam will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah 84095. Family and friends may call from 10:00-10:45 a.m. that morning. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
