As Marine stationed in Beaufort, I met Miriam and Grady 58 years ago. We have maintained a friendship over the years since that time. We always visited and dined together when back in Beaufort. She and Grady once visited our home in Maryland along with our sharing a week together up in the New England states. Beautiful memories that I will cherish the remainder of my life. God broke the mold when he made Miriam. She was unique in so many ways and this little written eulogy will not allow me to share all of special attributes, but suffice it to say, she was a devoted wife and mother like no other. She was totally transparent leaving no one to imagine what she thought; a trait that I found refreshing. Please know Grady that she was loved and respected by Maggie and I, and you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of grief and sadness.
Love in Christ,
