Ms. Mirima Aleem, age 74 of Gatesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Gatesville Senior Center.
A native of Baltimore Maryland, Mirima was born to her mother and father Mrs. Thelma Louise Jackson-Keller and Mr. Gerald Booker Sr. Raised in Gatesville Texas and was known to have birthed the First Newborn son on New Year’s Day in 1973. My baby brother, DEMETRIUS CHAFFORD’s arrival had made the news. Mirima aka Ms. Darlene could blow the roof of any church house building with that Aretha Franklin, bone chilling Lady Sing the Blues type voice. Mirima was a loving nurse for over 30 years and has weathered many storms, with her head held high, continued to Press forward with Style and Grace… The oldest of 10 see below for names, this Classy lady never used her beauty in vain.
