Mitchell Armstrong Obituary
He was born March 1, 1936, in Madison County, and was a son of the late Mitchell and Okie Reed Armstrong. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Ann Johnson Armstong, on August 16, 2022, and three brothers, twins Bill and Bob Armstrong, and Mike Armstrong.
Neil is survived by one daughter, Regina Wright of Lexington; two beloved grandchildren, Brooke Walters and Austin Wright; one brother, Freddy Armstrong and wife Debbie of Morehead; a host of nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
Neil retired from Sealmaster and enjoyed deer hunting, camping, boating, and spending time with family. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jason Armstrong, Scott Armstrong, Chris Armstrong, Jeff Cogswell, and Steve McKinney.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
