On August 25, 1958, in Florence County, South Carolina, the late Robert Lee Jackson and Flora Mae Peterson Jackson gave birth to their son, Mitchell Jackson. In the early morning of November 3, 2025, Mitchell transitioned to his final resting place.
As a member of Union Baptist Church, he served as a member of Senior Saint and love attending church functions. Mitchell live his life from his spiritual principles: put God first, treat everyone with love and respect and you will have a happy life. He was kind, friendly and a sharp dresser. He enjoyed spending time taking care of his lawn and relaxing watching the news and sports.
Heaven gates open as Mitchell joined his parents, and three brothers, John Jackson, Robert Jackson, Jr. and Larry Jackson and one grandson.
Leaving to cherish his fond memories is his daughter, Pamela McCray of South Carolina, three sons, Adrin McCray and Andrew Sumter both of South Carolina, Jeffrey Rubin of the home, a his beloved girlfriend, Sharon Rubin of the home, a stepson, Antonio Rubin, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, five sisters: Pearl (Joshua Ray) Graham and Olla Mae (Edward) Peterson both of South Carolina, Patricia (Van) Price and Karen (Frank) Turner both of High Point, NC, Sue (Brian) Robbins of Jamestown, NC, four brothers: James (Alice) Jackson of South Carolina, Henry Jackson, Curry Jackson and Lander Jackson all of High Point, NC, stepmother, Annie Sue Jackson, one aunt, Betty Williams and one uncle, Nathaniel Peterson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
