Mitchell Latting, age 60, a resident of Eagleville Tennessee and previously of Sedro-Woolley Washington went to heaven after a long battle with ALS on Thursday June 8, 2023 at Stones River Hospital in Woodbury Tennessee. Mitch was born Dec 28, 1962 in Sedro-Woolley Washington to Donald Latting, and Dorothy Latting. Mitch attended all of his school years in Sedro Woolley, where he had many friends and family, he later moved to Tennessee where he resided in Eagleville.
Mitch loved being outdoors from camping, hiking, hunting, 4 wheeling to years of hanging with friends and family. Mitch also loved Country Music and was a long time employee of Country Legend, George Jones. He was a loving father, brother, and friend.
Mitch is survived by siblings, Mindy, (Charles)Trantham, and Cheryl (Phillip) Mitchell, Nieces Sondra (Scotty) Rowlett, Sarah (Ashley Bolden) Karper, Rachel Trantham, Samantha, (Jordan)Taylor, Syann Mitchell, nephew's, Colby (Lysandra) McCoy, Clancy Mitchell, Briley Mitchell, Beau Mitchell; and several close cousins.
Mitchell is proceeded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy Latting, and his Son, Mitchell Latting, Jr., All of Sedro-Woolley Washington. A Celebration of Life and reception will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Eagleville Community Center 317 Old Hwy 99. Officiating will be pastor Rick Points. All family and friends are invited to attend.
Arrangements are under the care of Smith Family Funeral Services in Murfreesboro Tennessee.
We will have a celebration of life at a later date in Sedro Woolley for family and friends unable to attend Tennessee memorial.
