Mitchell Herman Madden

Mitchell Herman Madden, age 89 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at UTMB League City Hospital. Mitchell was born July 27, 1935 in Galveston, Texas and had been a resident of Alvin for 64 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked as a truck driver spending a large portion of his career driving for Petro Chemical Transport. Mitchell had a love for fishing, spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Madden; parents, Elmer and Daphine Madden; sisters, Florence Raitano and Frances Benzai; brother, Donald Madden.
Mitchell is survived by his daughters, Theresa Lewis and spouse Alan Lewis, Cindy Keenan and spouse Richard Keenan, Dolores Thompson; son, Mitch Madden and spouse Rachelle Madden; sisters, Mary Boyd and Judy Tilizki; brother, Melvin Madden; grandchildren, Mandy Turner, Grady Lewis, Matthew Keenan, Marcus Keenan, Alicia Keenan, Kyle Weeks, Howard Thompson III, Crystal Thompson, Stephanie Green, Christopher Madden; 31 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Scott Funeral Home.
