Peyton P.W. Henny

P.W. Henny, age 94 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 surrounded by his family. P.W. was born October 25, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was a member of the Alvin community for over 50 years. He served in the Air Force as a Master Tech Sargeant for 17 years and joined the Reserves from 1970-1974. P.W. enjoyed hunting, fishing out at San Luis Pass and Chocolate Bayou, playing and watching Golf, gardening with his wife Inus, collecting rare and exotic plants, animals, bird watching, carpentry for family and his community, singing and dancing, high fives and kissing the ladies' hands. P.W. is preceded in death by his wife Inus Henny, son J. Adam Henny; parents Curtis and Alice Henny; siblings, Cecilia Ann Caskey and Gary Butch Henny.

P.W. is survived by his children Peyton D. Henny and wife Chris, Joy A. King; sister Carolyn Pitts and husband Roy; grandchildren David Curry and wife Shannon, Rebecca Caldwell and husband Matthew, Adam Curry and wife Rachel and Jacob Henny; great-grandchildren Kelsie Curry, Paige Curry-Strain and husband Brennen. Hailey Arce and husband Emerson, Jacob Caldwell, Taelyn Noll, Micah Caldwell, Skylar Henny, AmeliaRose and Zariah Caldwell; great-great-granddaughters Lovelyn and Alianna; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Scott Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with interment to follow in the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery.
