Mitchell Moore Obituary
Mitchell Moore, age 77, late of Mokena, IL, passed away May 22, 2025. U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. Mitchell was a Chicago Police Officer for 23 years where he served and protected his community with pride. Mitchell was devoted to his country and made sure he was always showing off his patriotism. Avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time outdoors or throwing a fishing line in at the local ponds/lakes. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grand-dogs. He will be greatly missed.
Loving former husband of Carmen Moore. Beloved father of Melissa Moore, Brian Moore, Mitchell Moore, Richard Moore, James Moore, William Moore, and Frank Moore. Cherished grandfather of Mitchell. Caring brother of the late Frank (Regina) Moore, the late Theresa (the late Buster) Ashley, and the late Peggy (the late Frederick) Hulsey. Dear son of the late Leonard and the late Versie Moore. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Visitation, Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Chapel Service at 11:30 a.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 S. Wolf Rd. Mokena, IL 60448.
