Mitchell Lee Stump, age 65 of Callaway, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025. Mitchell was born November 23, 1959 to the late Willard and Dorothy Stump. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Tammy Stump.
Mitchell worked at Uttermost for many years. He was a car enthusiast, loved hunting and enjoyed his early morning gatherings at Dudley's with his buddies. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving is his wife Denise Stump; brothers and sisters Roger Stump (Teresa), Betty Lumsden (Charlie), Shelby Flowers (Ronald), Junior Stump (Cindy) and David Stump (Melissa); seven children that called him "Papa"; several nieces and one nephew.
His family will be receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 Virginia Market Place Dr. Rocky Mount, VA 24151
