Mitchell Wilson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley's Colonial Funeral Chapel - Boonville on Mar. 9, 2026.
Mitchell Kent Wilson, 35, of Boonville, IN, passed away on March 7, 2026, at his home in Boonville. He was born on January 2, 1991, in Evansville, IN to Michael and Trayce Wilson. Mitchell graduated from Boonville High School in 2009 where he starred in tennis and was involved with the State Champion 2006 softball team. Mitchell worked as a bartender/server at Archie and Clyde's where he was a patron favorite.

Mitchell had a passion for life and was known for his spunky attitude by all who loved him. He loved music and going to music festivals. He really enjoyed tennis and still played regularly. He enjoyed watching movies at home and going to the theatre. He had very good taste in movies and music, and he was more than happy to tell you about it. He was a big fan of Game of Thrones. He loved spending time with his nieces and being "Uncle Mitchell." But his favorite thing in life was his cat, Rafa, who he had a giant portrait of in his house, and was his "baby boy."

Mitchell is survived by his parents, Michael and Trayce Wilson. His sister, Molly Wilson. His brother, Max (Trista) Wilson. His nieces, Karlee, Koree, and Kenidee Wilson, and Sydney (Kiven) McCoy. His aunts, Terri (Joe) Derr, Kathy (Dennis) Withey, and Jane Decker Wilson. His uncles, Tony (Cheryl) Bradshaw, Tim (Cynthia) Bradshaw, and Steve (Jayne) Wilson. His great-nephews, Kai and Kamden Summers. Mitchell is also survived by 11 first cousins and several second cousins.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cletis and Rita Bradshaw, and F. Keith and Donna Wilson, his uncle, Jeff Wilson, and his nephew, Gage McCoy.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Living Word Christian Church of Newburgh. A memorial service will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope for Warrick County.

Bradley's Colonial Funeral Chapel is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements for Mitchell and care of the Wilson Family.
