Mittie Bell King

MRS MITTIE BELL KING was born on February 24, 1924, to the late Calvin and
Amanda Johnson in Birmingham, Alabama.
She was born and raised with strong values; she dedicated her life to helping others
and making a positive impact in her community. Her passion for life was evident in every
endeavor, whether through volunteer work, or the relationships she nurtured.
She confessed Christ at an early age, beginning a lifelong journey of faith. She was a
faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
She is survived by loving family members and friends whose lives have been deeply
touched by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Memories of laughter,
shared experiences, and heartfelt conversations will be cherished forever.
On November 15, 2025, she peacefully transitioned from this life when the Lord called
her home. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Evans and
Mary Alice Walker.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Shirley Davis, Barbara King, and
Kathy Moore of Birmingham, AL; Two sons, Linzey King, Jr. and Michael (Sandra) King
of Birmingham. One Brother, Fred Johnson, Arlington, Texas; Cherishing great
memories also includes a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren
and great-great grandchildren.
