Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Mitzi's passing. She was a special lady and I had the pleasure of working with her at CPC/Sioux Valley/Sanford for many years. She always had a smile on her lovely face and a positive word. My sincere sympathy to all of you.

Just reading funeral info about Mitzi so unable to attend. I worked with Mitzi for several years...she was in Records at Sanford and I was in Transcription. We had many visits with knowing people in common. She was a delightful lady, enjoyed her sweet personality. Sending my condolences to her daughters and family.

The Barnes Family is sending you love and comfort during this time. We will always remember her kindness and all her baked holiday treats! Love, Angie and Blane

I worked with Mitzi,in Medical Records for 17 years. She always had a smile for everyone.
We had great talks after we both watched Project Runway.

I’m so sorry to hear about Mitzi passing. . I will forever remember her homemade truffles.

We were sad to hear of Mitzi’s passing. We were fortunate to have Bob and Mitzi as next door neighbors for many years. They were wonderful people and we missed them dearly when they moved into a smaller home. Mitzi always had a beautiful garden in the backyard. Our condolences to her family.

Rest in peace Mitizi, and God be with the family. I know that you are in a much better place

Mitzi was born September 12, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Roy and Marie (“Pootsie”) Calvert. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines and attended Central College in Pella, Iowa.

A friend introduced her to the love of her life, Bob Bittner, while he was in town for a banking conference. They were married on June 29, 1968, in Des Moines, and shared 53 years of devoted marriage marked by deep love, steady companionship, and a lifetime of shared memories.
