Mitzi Turner

– Mitzi Turner, age 86 years of Hudson, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at her home in Hudson, surrounded by her family. She was born July 8, 1939, in Edon, Ohio, the daughter of Oren Ralph and Majorie (Eager) Mason. Mitzi graduated from Montpelier High School in 1957. She married Albert "Raymond" Turner on August 31, 1958, in Montpelier, Ohio. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2013.
Mitzi was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Lakes, Addison, Appalachian Dulcimer Club and the Prayer Shawl Group. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of the lawn, crocheting and watching her grandson race sprint cars.
Mitzi is survived by her son, Gregory (Karen) Turner; a son-in-law, Kenny Sanders; two grandsons, Joshua (Saddi) Turner and Clayton (Beaux) Turner; two granddaughters, Sara Moore and Lacey (Brett) Arnold; three great-granddaughters, Riette, Emma and Revlynn; two brothers, Donald and George Mason; a sister, Sue (John) Seaman and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Cynthia S. Sanders; two brothers, Robert and Charles Mason and a sister, Marsha Snyder.
Funeral Services for Mitzi will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Hudson with Pastor Jim Weist officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hudson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
