"We may have lost them too soon, but the time we shared was a gift that will last forever." -Author Unknown
LADY'S ISLAND,SC- The Management and Staff of THE SERENITY MORTUARY - HISTORIC BEAUFORT CHAPEL, alongside the Mustafa Family announce the passing of Mr. Mohammad Mustafa, 51, of Lady's Island, SC who passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC.
"Moe," as he was affectionately known by all who knew him, was a friend to everyone he met. His warmth, charisma, and kind-hearted nature made a lasting impression on all whose lives he touched.
Moe was a passionate musician, serving as the rhythm guitarist and lead singer for two beloved bands-Arizona's Black Horse, and Skarlett Whiskey in Beaufort, South Carolina. His love for music was matched only by his love for life.
An avid golf enthusiast, Moe achieved one of his proudest milestones by competing in the South Carolina Senior Open, a testament to his dedication and talent on the green.
Moe was the beloved husband of Mrs. Sandy Mustafa, whom he considered the love of his life. Everyone around them could see it in the way they looked at each other, and especially when he sang to her. He was a devoted father to his son Kenneth and daughters Sandra, Kassy, and MacKenzie, a cherished grandfather to his granddaughter Emma, and a loving son to his Mother, Rebecca. He also leaves behind his loyal dogs, Rio and DJ, who brought him joy and companionship.
Moe's spirit, love, and infectious presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
***The final arrangements for Mr. Mohammad "Moe" Mustafa are under the direction of THE SERENITY MORTUARY - HISTORIC BEAUFORT CHAPEL, we are honored to serve his family and we ask that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.***
