Moise, better known to his family and friends, as "Hobo", was born in Port Acres, Texas, and honorably served his country in the United States Army National Guard.

Moise dedicated himself to various roles throughout his life. His career spanned 35 years with the U.S. Soil Conservation Services, where his hard work and commitment stood as a testament to his character. For a decade, he served as the Police Jury Superintendent, shaping his community with wisdom and care. His contributions extended far beyond local activities; he served on the Louisiana State Levee Board and officiated at the Oilman's Bass Classic. His involvement showcased his dedication to environmental conservation and love for outdoor pursuits.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Hobo was a Founding Member of the Breaux Bridge Quarter Back Club, he nurtured young talents and fostered a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship. His membership in the Pelba Hunting Club reflected his love for the outdoors and camaraderie among fellow hunting enthusiasts.

In addition to his professional endeavors and community engagements, Hobo found joy in simple pleasures. Whether deer hunting in nature's embrace, tending to his cattle with care, or delighting his family with Sunday barbecues, he found solace in life's uncomplicated moments. His love for old western movies added a touch of nostalgia to his leisure hours.
