In the brilliant constellation of human souls that have graced this world, a star named Moises Cabrera - affectionately known as "My Golden Child" - has completed its earthly journey. Born on December 16, 2002, in Lansing Township, MI, Moises was a beacon of light, dedicated and spirited, touching the lives of many with his radiance.

Moises was an ambitious young man with an insatiable hunger for success. He started his career with Ayer's Basement, where he quickly climbed the ranks, eventually becoming a respected foreman. In his work, he embodied the wisdom of Vince Lombardi, who once said, "The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary." His humility and work ethic earned him recognition as one of the top 5 foremen in his company, a testament to his dedication and tenacity. Beyond his career, Moises was a man of many passions. He loved the thrill of boxing, the artistry of playing guitar, the strategy of video games, the creativity of Lego's, and the excitement of Michigan football. He also had a knack for home modeling, a hobby that harmonized perfectly with his occupation.

In his 23 years in Lansing, Moises created a life that was both meaningful and impactful. He was a humble soul who believed in striving to be the best and accomplishing his goals. His life was a testament to this belief. His legacy, however, reaches far beyond his personal achievements. He touched the lives of those around him in ways that words can barely express. He was a blessing to everyone he met, leaving a profound impact that will continue to inspire and guide those he left behind.

Moises is survived by his loving parents, Moises Sr. and Anneliese Rodriguez; his devoted siblings, Adrianna and Michael Cabrera; his cherished nieces, Aliana Martinez and Ainiyah Moore; and his supportive step-father, Chris Mireles. He was preceded in death by his brother, Moises DeJesus Cabrera; sisters, Ruth Aracely Cabrerea, Delores Crystal Cabrera; uncle, Jessie Rodriguez; and cousin, Alex Rodriguez.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Skinner Funeral Home - Lansing Chapel, 101 W. Jolly Rd. Lansing, MI 48910. Family will receive friends for Visitation from 9am - 11am on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the funeral home.

As we mourn the loss of Moises, we celebrate his life and the joy he brought to us all. We invite you to share your memories of Moises and upload photos to the memorial page.
