Michael Schrubbe Obituary
Lansing, Michigan
Passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at the age of 63. Born November 21, 1962 to Bill and Mary (Genereaux) Schrubbe in Lansing, Michigan. Mike attended welding trade school and later went on to work at General Motors. He worked primarily in the Body Shop of GM where he retired in 2015. Mike loved the outdoors where he could ride his Harley Davidson, or go fishing, camping and canoeing. He was an outgoing guy who could also be described as boisterous and loud. Mike was always good for a joke and had great story's to tell. He also liked attending concerts and shows. Most of all, Mike loved his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who remember him. Preceding him in death were his wife, Pamela Schrubbe as well as his parents.
Surviving are his children, Otetwin Schrubbe, Andrew Schrubbe, Erica Schrubbe, Alyssa Schrubbe, Sarah (Tom) Dawson; grandchildren, Kekshe' Schrubbe, Me'skwankot Schrubbe, Nathan Edwards, Celeste Edwards, Cristiano Cantu, Genevieve Dawson; siblings, Kathryn Schrubbe, William Schrubbe, Susan Fox as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Skinner Funeral Home Lansing Chapel, 101 W. Jolly Rd. Lansing, MI 48910.
