Molly Hill, 89, of Austin, passed away peacefully, on May 30, 2013. Molly was born in Austin, Texas on August 24, 1923. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and Aunt. She was known for being a devoted friend and her ability to have fun and for always being the life of the party. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Rosemary Buddecke; granddaughter, Holly Lixey and her husband Shawn; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Ella; and many others who called her "Aunt Molly". She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonam Frank Dickerson and Dolly Pearl Kelly; husband, John Tyler Hill; children, Dean and Scotty Teague; siblings, Lucille (Dickerson) Tucker, Charles S. Dickerson, Walter Dickerson, and Carroll Dickerson. Molly worked and volunteered for many years at Zilker Botanical Gardens and loved spending time working in the Children's Garden. She was a life member of the Austin Area Garden Council, past president of the Western Trails Garden Club, and member of Town Lake Garden Club, where she made life-long friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620. Funeral Service 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Oak Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Molly Hill to Austin Area Garden Council and mailed to 2220 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, Tx 78746.
