Molly Etta Lambert, 87, of Center Cross, VA passed peacefully on April 8, 2025 in Warsaw, VA at Northern Neck Assisted Living facility - formerly known as The Orchard.
Born in Freeman, WV Molly moved to Northern Virginia upon graduation from Gary High School (Coal Diggers) Class of 1956.
Molly then moved to California to work at the Los Angeles Sherriff’s Dept for several years and has lived in Seattle, WA and Glendale, AZ prior to residing in Center Cross, VA.
Ms. Lambert is preceded in death by her loving husband John Adolph Nelson, parents, Ed & Helen Lambert; sisters, Helen Lambert Freeman, Phyllis (Lambert) Cates, Charlotte (Lambert) Stallard and brother, Clarence Anderson Lambert.
Molly is survived by sister, Sharon Huddleston of Herndon, VA; brother-in-law, Larry Stallard of Center Cross; and nieces, Kimberly Green, Louise Gardner, Trina Cleaver, Tracy Huddleston, Lisa LeBrecque; nephews, Blane Freeman, Michael Freeman, James Blankenbaker, Arnie Lambert and Brian Huddleston. She is also survived by step-children Kristin Shores, Kevin Nelson, Pamela Seto and numerous great nieces and nephews. Molly Lambert’s final resting place will be at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Dunnsville, Va between sisters Phyllis and Charlotte as she desired. Services will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Faulkner Funeral Home, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
