Mona Joann Earnhart (80) of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on January 15, 2025. Mona was a loving mother, sister and friend. She was a long standing resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading and travelling, in which she did with many of her family members. As the oldest of 8 children she was a very strong, independent woman with a determination to enjoy and live her life to the fullest. She was an inspiration to many. Mona was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by daughters Tammy Earnhart-Hurst(Mike Sr.), Jerri Ann Moreno(Joe), Ronda Earnhart-Cortez(Raymond) and step daughter Colleen Hendrix(Bill). She has 9 grandchildren, Michael Hurst Jr, Dusty Hurst, Cody Hurst, Travis Hurst, Diamond Miller,, Scott DeSantis, Anthony Cortez, Amanda Cortez and Trevor Hendrix in addition to 14 great grandchildren, Medaleena Hurst, Junior Hurst, Tirzah Hurst, Scott DeSantis, Cody Hurst Jr, Lilliana Hurst, Noah Hurst, Sequoia Hurst, Kyle Miller Jr(KJ), Opal Miller, Evan Cortez, LaShuna Cain,Trevor Cain(TJ), Raylynn Cain, Kyleena Cortez and Ayden Cortez. She was preceded in death by Grace Evans Stewart (mother) Hobert Stewart (father) Marcia Dean (sister) Robert Ryan (spouse)Dusty Hurst (grandson) Michael Hurst Jr. (grandson) Michael Hurst Sr. (son in law) Greg(Griz) Robinson (brother in law) and survived by 6 brothers and sisters Sheryl Mosher (Lee), Dianna Scott (Jim), Linda Ricke (Bryan), Dennis Stewart (Donna), Denise Robinson (Greg), Terry Stewart (Kelly).
