She was born on February 5, 1936, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Henry Weaver and Mary Jane (Kerns) Weaver. Mona enjoyed playing card games, going to the casino, marbles, and her lottery tickets. Above all things, she loved spending her time with her family and loved ones.
Mona is survived by her 3 children: Walter Gildow, Teresa Temple, Lisa (Dale) Robison; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; special friends, Lynda Fleming, Katie Simkins, Alicia Arthur, Lois Cooper, Sherry Duffy, Rhonda Bowman; special bath aids, Amanda and Chassidy; and many other friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Dwight Denver Gildow; 4 brothers: Bill Weaver, Charles Weaver, Bob Weaver, Mel Weaver; 3 sisters: Freeda Kaufman, Juanita Ebey, and Betty Danison; daughter in law, Sharon Gildow.
Calling hours will be held on October 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Linda Danskin officiating. Burial will conclude services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
