Monet Margaret Clarke

Monet Margaret Clarke was born on November 11th 1979 to Robert and Chantay Clarke at St. Michael's Medical Center Newark NJ.
She was Christened at Calvary Roseville United Methodist Church East Orange NJ as an infant and later took the oath of Confirmation at age 14yrs cementing her commitment to Christ.
Monet attained her early grade schooling in NJ and due to her father's job she also attended school in Cheam, Surrey England for a few years and eventually returning to New Jersey where she graduated High School... She pursued her Undergraduate studies at Barnard College in New York City, earning a BS in Economics and Political Science. She continued her higher learning education and earned a Doctor of Law from The University of Texas, Austin. Subsequently passing the bar exam for the State of Texas.
At an early age Monet had a penchant for travelling and cruising.She travelled domestically and abroad to many Caribbean islands and Mexico on her sojourns with her mother. Jamaica was one of her favorite places to visit and went there several times for family events including her cousin Jason's wedding.
Celebrating Christmas in Jamaica with our extended family and other memorable "Jamaican experiences". Monet also enjoyed water sports, walking, swimming, watching a myriad of TV, programs; all genre of Literature and music and social media. She was an avid reader and could read up to 10 novels in a week as per her Kindle account.
Self-determined. Strong willed. Liberated. Strong minded. These are just a few of the adjectives that described Monet. She also had a keen sense of social conscience and awareness.
She was always a source of comfort and inspiration during trying and troubling times.
At her untimely death at age 45 years old Monet passed away peacefully at Harbor Hospice,Lake Charles Louisiana after a brief illness.
She was predeceased by her grandparents Margaret and Elvin Eady. Bonus Grandparents Danny and Sylvia Frank, Grandmother Gloria Goodall and her uncle Darryl Eady.
Monet is survived by her loving parents Robert& Chantay Clarke formally of NJ and now residents of Houston Texas. Her brother Robert A Clarke also living in Houston Texas. Loving Aunt Loraine Smart-Armstrong (Dave), Uncles Todd Eady (Denise), Kirk Eady (Sandra). Cousin Monica Mills and many other cousins and relatives and a host of friends.
Dearest Monet. Rest in Peace. We will miss your energetic and joyful radiance.
