It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Monica Jean Davidson, age 61, who left this world on November 7, 2025, in her cherished home in Orlando, Florida. Born on November 5, 1964, in Norwich, Connecticut, Monica embraced the warmth of Florida’s sun and the love of her family for the majority of her life after moving there at the age of five.
Monica was a proud graduate of Evan's High School, Class of 1982, and dedicated her professional life to managing an office at a local flooring company, where her organizational skills and warm presence made a lasting impact on those around her.
Family was the cornerstone of Monica’s life. She married her beloved husband, Keith Davidson, on May 27, 1988, and together they raised a beautiful family. She is survived by their three children, Kristin Podaski and her husband (and special son-in-law) Bryan, and sons Kyle and Keith Davidson, along with her treasured grandchildren: Alice, “little” Bryan, Aaron, Anna, Austin, Mackenzie, and Bailey Podaski. The profound love for her family filled every corner of her life.
Monica was also a loving sister to her brothers Damian, Eric, Kevin, and Patrick Harrison. She cherished her close relationships with them, despite the loss of her parents, David and Elaine Harrison, and brothers David, Stephen, and Martin.
In her leisure time, Monica found joy in many simple pleasures — going to concerts and Earth Day Birthday, watching TV with Keith, sharing fishing trips with her his and sons, and enjoying the beach. Her love for the Buccaneers was known to all, and she made lasting memories cheering them on. Above all else, she adored spending time with her grandchildren, instilling in them the love and values she cherished.
Monica’s life will be celebrated on November 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Wildfire Church located at 113 N Wekiva Springs Rd., Apopka, FL 32703. This gathering will be a time to share the light she spread and the love she embodied, surrounded by family and friends who knew her warmth and kindness.
In the words of Winnie the Pooh, “If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we are apart, I’ll always be with you.”
