Monika May Obituary
Funeral Services for Monika May, 85, of Eros, LA will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, May 1, 2024 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Darrin Lenard officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Monika was born on March 6, 1939 in Pirna, Saxony and passed away on April 28, 2024 in Monroe, LA. She was a school bus driver for the Ouachita Parish School Board. Monika worked for Limousines Unlimited for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed riding horses, talking to people, and making sauerkraut and potato salad. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Mack May, Sr., grandchildren, Maggie May and Maegan May.
Survivors include her sons, Paul Cooper (Wanda Faulk), Bo May, Richie May, Kurt May (Wendi); grandchildren, Ryan Cooper, Crystal Cooper, Amanda May, Drake May (Shannon), Mallari May, Mack May, Kamiron May; six great-grandchildren; special friend, Adrian Bonilla; and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Paul Cooper, Bo May, Richie May, Kurt May, Drake May, and Mack May.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Adrian Bonilla.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter, 417 Well Road, West Monroe, LA 71292.
