Monique "Paquette" Marquis

Monique H. Marquis (Paquette), 90 of Enfield, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Born on December 15, 1935 in Clarkesville, NH, Monique attended Our Lady of Grace Academy. She later married Robert A. Marquis and moved to Hartford, CT before settling in Enfield where she raised her family and built a life centered on family, kindness, and care. Monique worked for many years at Milton Bradley in East Longmeadow, MA. Monique was known for her generous spirit and selfless devotion to those she loved. Her passions included church, bowling and traveling, particularly time spent at her cottage in Canada, where many cherished family memories were made. She was a pillar of her family, touching the lives of all who knew her, and will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Marquis; her parents, Philibert Paquette and Yvonne Paquette; her siblings, Rejeanne Gilbert, Maurice Paquette, Herman Paquette and Jean-Paul Paquette; and her son-in-law, Patrick Sharron.

She is survived by her children: Michelle Marquis, Real Marquis (Linda); Helene Fauteux (Alain); Guy Marquis, (Guylaine); Rita Sharron (widow of Patrick Sharron); and Mark Marquis. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Marie, Mandy, Cecile, Elizabeth, Julie, Philippe, Robert, Alison and Christina; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Suzanne Roy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 4, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard's Church, Enfield. Interment will be private.
