It Is with heavy Hearts that we announce the Passing of Carl "Moose" Edward Kammerer age 68 of Erlanger Ky who passed away peacefully on August 4th 2025 surrounded by family.
Moose proudly served his country as a United States Marine, embodying the core values of honor, courage, and commitment. His time in the service left a lasting impact on him, and he remained a proud Marine for life After his military service, Moose went on to be a mechanic something that became a passion to him.
In 2000, Moose married the love of his life Dora L Kammerer. Their love and partnership was a source to of strength and joy throughout the years together they built together. Making Dora smile was something he faithfully enjoyed. Always referring her to "his Queen". She described him not as mean, not as lean, but always and forever her Marine.
Moose leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever including his wife Dora L Kammerer, daughters Jennifer Watts (Kevin), Cindy Holt, Doreen Barnes (Jamie), and son James Humphrey II.
Moose is also survived by his sisters Mary Wilson (Jack), Carol Howard, and Marlene King (David). His legacy lives on with 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who all will miss him terribly.
Moose is preceded in death by both his parents Charles Floyd and Martha Jane Kammerer, two sons Michael Hicks and Carl Edward Kammerer jr, daughter Angie Kammerer, brother Jimmy Harrington. sister Katie Dunn and a grandson Trenton Humphrey.
Semper Fi, Marine - stand down and rest in eternal peace.
Saturday Aug 16 we will have a Visitation at 1pm to 3pm followed with a Funeral Service at 3pm.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and grandfather and great grandfather. Moose was a friend to me and a veteran we both served in Vietnam he was there in 1975 with the United States Marine Corps, one of the last Marines out of Saigon South Vietnam I was there 1972 through 1973 United States Army.
