Moraima Dominguez Nuncio, affectionately known as Moraima by her loved ones, passed away peacefully from natural causes on November 24, 2024, in
Kyle, Texas, at the venerable age of 89. Born on March 8, 1935, in Piedras Negras, Mexico, Moraima was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her, embodying the virtues of kindness and adventure throughout her rich life.
Moraima was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Arnulfo Nuncio, and her sons, Joe F. Nuncio, Arnold Nuncio Jr, and Sergio Nuncio. Her life was a testament to enduring love and the strength found in family bonds.
The cherished matriarch of a large and loving family, Moraima's legacy is carried on by her devoted daughter, Mary Lou Rivera and husband, Nelson; sons, Jack Richard Nuncio, and Henry Nuncio and wife, Mary Jane; and daughter-in-law, Dora Nuncio. She was a pillar of strength and joy for her grandchildren: Lisa, Darlene, Joseph, Denise, Melanie, Chris, Samantha, Rosemary, Ann Marie, Manuel, Marco, Jacklyn, Jake, Joshua, Justin, Adriana, and Matthew. Her spirit will also be fondly remembered by her 25 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her later years.
As a young woman, Moraima's radiant personality and zest for life drew people to her. Her dad was a musician and loved seeing him play. It was also a plus because she loved to dance. She was not only a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother but also a cherished friend to many.

Her cooking was legendary, a blend of traditional recipes and innovative twists that brought everyone to the table with anticipation. Moraima's love for the casinos was more than a pastime; it was a reflection of her adventurous spirit, and she reveled in the camaraderie and excitement of each visit.
