Morgan Everett

Morgan "Decker" Everett, age 87, of Covington, PA, passed peacefully away at his home on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, after a long battle with dementia. He was born on September 7, 1937, in Millerton, PA, a son of Morgan and Mildred (Hall) Everett. Decker was the husband of Misty Lea (Ostrom) Everett who was beside him for 45 years. He drove truck for 49 years and was half-owner of Bloss Beverage for 8 years. Decker was the Covington Township Supervisor and Road Master for 8 years, and the owner/operator of Everett Stables for 30 years He was a lifetime member of the Robert F. Snyder VFW Post 6755 Auxiliary in Liberty, PA, a lifetime member of Arnot Sportsman Club in Arnot, PA, a member of the American Legion 572 of Blossburg, PA, American Legion 167 in Morris Run, PA, and the Hillside Rod and Gun Club in Blossburg, PA.
Decker made friends wherever he traveled. He loved people, children and animals. He was a kind and good-natured person. Decker had several lifelong friends and always had a smile and a good sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, friend and will truly be missed and loved by those who knew him. Please remember him with love and laughter, for that's how he'll remember you. 'Til we meet again, "You'll NEVER WALK ALONE."
Decker is survived by his wife, Misty; children, Jeff Everett of Blossburg, PA, Martin "Marty" (Lisa) Everett of Covington, PA, and Shari (Brett) Orrick of Salladasburg, PA; grandsons, Zachary Everett, Justin Fulkerson, and Brooks (Anna) Fulkerson; great grandson, Jase Fulkerson; siblings, Marleea Smith of Wellsboro, PA and Lynn (Judi) Everett of Lawrenceville, PA; many nieces and nephews; fur babies, Abbey and Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Calvert "Cal" (Annamae) Everett, Alan Everett, and Lyle Everett; sisters, Marcella Doan and Marletta Louis; daughter-in-law, Deb Everett; grandsons, Chad and Brian Everett.
A celebration of life will be held at the Liberty VFW Post 6755 on July 19, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
