After graduating on the Dean’s List and Phi Alpha Honor Society with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Westfield State College, Westfield, MA, Morgan worked with elementary students as a Special Education Paraprofessional and as a Regular Education Paraprofessional in the Simsbury Public Schools. After working in the public schools, Morgan decided her passion was to share her love of the Lord with students in a Christian school environment. Morgan attended New England Baptist College at Central Baptist Church to further her studies in Christian education and to pursue the field of missions. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from New England Baptist College as a Bachelor of Christian Ministries with an emphasis in Missions and Early Childhood Development.

After graduating from New England Baptist College, she worked in several Christian schools.  She worked at Granite Baptist School in Glen Burnie, MD as a teacher aide and after school teacher. She worked at Town and Country: Early Learning Center in Southington, CT as a toddler teacher. She also worked at MidState Christian Academy in Meriden, CT as a preschool teacher assistant.  Morgan also had a desire to support the children at Central Baptist Church by helping out as a Sunday School Teacher Assistant and helping students at the Central Christian Academy as a Math and English tutor.

Morgan has volunteered to go on many missions’ trips. Some of her missions’ adventures included going to New Orleans, LA for Global Outreach helping the victims of Hurricane Sandy, to San Jose del Monte in Bulacan, Philippines for Calvary Christian Academy helping students learn English, to Sau Paulo, Brazil for Igreja Batista Nova Vida helping tutor the Pastor’s Autistic son, to Ramey, PA for Servant’s Heart Camp as a camp counselor and as a photographer’s assistant and recently to Fiji to serve with her missionary friends sharing the gospel to the Fijian adults and children.

To further her desire to teach and inspire children to know and love the Lord, Morgan also worked with the Bus Ministry at Central Baptist Church where she was successful at helping children accept Christ as their Savior.

Morgan has had a lifelong love for music and singing. As a member of the Central Baptist Church choir, she sang with the choir as well as performed solos or in small groups during the Sunday services.

Monetary donations in Morgan’s memory may be made to the Missions Field by getting in touch with Central Baptist Church.

A service will be held at Central Baptist Church, 1505 West Street, Southington, CT on Monday, June 26, at 3:00.  A meal will be served following the service.

A Message from Morgan

Morgan, you were an encouragement to me over the past few year, and despite the fact that we've never got the opportunity to meet in person, in many ways I felt you were a closer friend than anyone in my own hometown. Heaven is sure getting sweeter every day, and I look forward to joining you in Glory!
